In recent years Knight Rigging Services has branched out from show business. The company still provides a cutting-edge service for singers, comedians and theatrical performers in some of the most prestigious venues in the world, but its focus has shifted slightly to satisfy wider corporate objectives.
As part of this awareness, KRS sponsored the legendary Blackpool Illuminations during 2013/2014, with a stunning display at the Starr Gate end of the Golden Mile.
It's a striking display not just of captivating light arches, but of solidarity with local businesses and the cultural heritage of the Blackpool area. Such projects are testament to Knight Rigging Services understanding of the role played by industry and its figureheads, in the wider picture of our society:
Another project outside of Knight Rigging Services normal sphere came in its alliance with Marks & Spencer to fulfil an important aspect of the retailer's 'shwopping' campaign, which aimed to divert waste clothing from landfill to people living in developing countries. Knight Rigging Services is proud to have helped Marks & Spencer promote the campaign by cladding the Old Truman Brewery in London with unwanted clothes. Highlighting its incredible expertise, Knight Rigging Services managed to install scaffolding around the 90-foot listed building, complete the cladding and dismantle the structure afterwards without leaving a mark.
Elsewhere, Knight Rigging Services sponsored the International Republic of Ireland touch rugby team, supporting a group of passionate athletes as - much like KRS - they strive to be the absolute best.
